World Of Property Launch New I-Mag

International real estate portal World of Property, yesterday launched a new overseas property magazine available only online.

A fully interactive, free-to-view, online magazine, the consumer-facing World of Property i-mag covers a range of overseas property-based issues, from news round ups, to properties for sale, currency reports and a look at the environmental concerns some people have about flying to their property overseas.

Although the UK second home buyer market is struggling at present, MD Mike Schwarz told OPP that through its search engine optimization it has started to attract a more international audience to its site and is confident about the title’s future.

“We took the bold decision last year to close the print title and to focus this new production solely online,” he said. “The overseas property world is changing and although the British overseas buyer is under s a lot of pressure at the moment, around 60% of out traffic now comes from the US, Europe and Australasia as a result of the SEO work we have put in over the last year.”

Going forward the title will be published on a bi-monthly basis with two specials planned for 2009. Potential advertisers can choose from six different options to showcase their products, including the ability to place moving video images of property in their adverts.
